Private Family & Small Group Martial Arts Sessions
Want to train with your children, partner, or a small group of friends at a time that suits you?
Our family and small group sessions give you your own private class - either at our dojo or at your venue - with all the benefits of structured coaching and none of the pressure of a large group.
Who are these sessions for?
- Families who want quality time together doing something active
- Siblings who prefer training together rather than in a big class
- Small groups of friends or colleagues who want a private class
- Home-educating families looking for regular PE / martial arts provision
- Youth and community groups who want a closed session just for their members
How group sessions work
We’ll talk to you about:
- Ages and experience levels of everyone taking part
- Whether you’d like more fun, game-based sessions, more technical training, more fitness, or a mix
- Any injuries, additional needs or worries so we can plan appropriately
- Whether you want a one-off, a short course, or an ongoing weekly session
From there we’ll design sessions that are age-appropriate, safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Dojo-based group sessions (Llangefni)
- 2-person private session
From £55 per hour - 3-4 people
From £70 per hour - 5-6 people
From £85 per hour
These work well as a regular weekly slot, or as occasional “top-up” sessions alongside normal classes.
At your venue (home, school, community centre)
If you have access to a suitable space (clear floor, enough room for everyone to move safely), we can bring the training to you.
- From £55 per hour for 1-2 people
- From £75-£95 per hour for 3-6 people
- Travel / set-up fee: from £15 per visit, depending on distance and venue
We’re happy to help you decide what’s realistic in your space and can advise on mats/equipment if needed.
Safety, safeguarding & professionalism
For family, youth and community sessions, we keep safeguarding front and centre:
- All instructors are Enhanced DBS checked
- All are First Aid at Work trained and fully insured
- For children’s sessions in homes, a parent or guardian must be present
- For school/community bookings, a responsible staff member or leader must be on site
How to book a private group
Tell us:
– Who the sessions are for (ages & numbers)
– Where you’d like to train (dojo / your venue)
– What you’d like the focus to be (fun, fitness, self-defence, grading, etc.)
– How often you’re thinking (one-off, 6-week block, term-time weekly, etc.)
We’ll come back with options, prices and available days/times.
